What we do

BLX creates better learning experiences by making learning content structured, traceable and easier to improve.
Our focus is the LXMS: a platform that connects the design, production, review, delivery and evaluation of digital learning across one continuous lifecycle. Instead of treating content as a collection of isolated packages, it keeps every version structured, traceable and ready to improve.
BLX develops the LXMS and helps organisations design, implement, integrate and operate it. Where needed, we also provide learning-design and content-production services.
For us, open source is more than a technology choice. Open standards, control over data and interoperable systems provide independence and long-term confidence.
Who we are
Robert Krämer and Thomas Russell
Robert Krämer
Robert Krämer leads consulting, sales and development. He has worked in digital learning for more than 20 years, at the intersection of learning technology, content management and user experience.
His work focuses on digital learning platforms, learning-technology standards and modern interfaces.
Thomas Russell
Thomas Russell leads learning and media design, as well as consulting and customer support.
As a learning and education specialist, he combines rigorous analysis with practical learning-design solutions. His experience includes projects for companies, public-sector organisations, government ministries and international development programmes.
